Reinventing our inventions

Since the 1990s the pop-up has been the standard in our industry. It’s time to take it to the next level. This means reinventing both in terms of product and application. It doesn’t mean the end of the road for Network, it just means new horizons.

Maxibit’s Network is a great product. We have always believed in it’s power to create forms, even when our competitors made theirs more standard and locked pop-ups into its standard forms. Try it for yourself. How easy is it to remove a section from a competitors pop-up. If it takes more than 3 minutes and isn’t intuitive, you should check out Maxibit. This now becomes an asset in every sense of the word. A chance for a new beginning.

And who could blame our competitors. For the most part, people buy it square shaped, a 3×3 or 4×3. This is great, customers love it, but with products like Stage and Scene FoldUp, it’s time to take Maxibit Network to the next level. Both Stage and Scene FoldUp make this square form and do it cheaper and more effectively – they are Network 2.0. But, with a cheap screw driver or a pocket knife, you can change and manipulate Network into different shapes and forms. This is reinventing the invention. It’s how we move forward – ”we merely stand on the shoulders of giants”, as Einstein once put it.

We have done this in the past but we need to make it a Standard – when we think pop-ups we should think shapes, inventions, and not just squares – who wants to be a square anyway 😉 Let me share with you a few inventions we have made with Network to illustrate this further.

We’ll keep inventing, if you keep reinventing the inventions! 🙂
