Why we innovate within the event industry!
In less than a month Maxibit will be attending Innovation in Action, an event for those companies dedicated to moving their respective industries forward. Maxibit is proud to sponsor such an event. With this innovation event drawing ever closer it felt like a good time to write a few short words on why Maxibit believes so strong in innovation and why this will not only the reason we are so different from our competition now, but also in the future.
”Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower.”
The quote above comes from Steve Jobbs, Apple’s founder and a strong believer in innovation. Maxibit seeks to be a leader through innovation – plain and simple. Some times this means that we are long before the competition and are perceived as being a too radical for the times – this is a good thing and means we are doing our job. At the end of the day it means that we don’t just want to product one more roll-up or one more pop-up. We want to innovate. Our Original 8 started the industry and our Stage proves that we can do so much more with fabric than just pasting it on a pop-up frame.
Shy boys never kiss pretty girls – that was our motto before and it still is. Even after more than 30 years in the industry, it’s the only thing we don’t innovate on! Come see us at Innovation in Action (link to innovation in action blogg inlägg), we’d love to hear what you think.

Christian Ahlberg is CEO at Maxibit WorldwideAB. I was born 1970, the same year Jimi Hendrix died. I started with Maxibit in the company in 1995 as a designer, and since then I've worked in graphic production, sales, shipping and finally CEO. Before working with Maxibit I started a men's fashion store and was self employed for three years and before that been working as a wood shop teatcher for a year and I also studied at the University of Uppsala. I love outdoor activities such as fishing, skiing, water sports, sailing, skating and of course spending time with my family and friends. If it isn't fun it's not worth it! So start showing your teeth in a big smile every day even if you're wearing brases!
